Driving Sustainable Innovation from Western Australia to Singapore
This week, Ecopha Biotech had the honour of representing Western Australia at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH 2025), an international platform convening leaders in sustainability, technology, and research.
It was an energising few days of learning, collaboration, and connection, from discussions at Curtin Singapore to meeting Australian High Commissioner Allaster Cox, and exploring Singapore innovation districts with strong sustainability commitments. Each conversation reinforced the strength of partnership and a shared vision for a cleaner, more resilient future.
We are grateful to Hon. Minister Stephen Dawson, Spacecubed through Meshpoints, Curtin University, West Tech Fest, and the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification for driving this mission and creating opportunities that showcase Western Australian innovation globally.
At Ecopha Biotech, we are developing PHA-based bioplastics that are biodegradable and home-compostable: materials made by nature, ready for industry. These advanced biopolymers offer a practical alternative to traditional plastics and enable progress toward a circular and environmentally responsible economy.
This is the beginning of a new chapter. We will build on the momentum of SWITCH by strengthening cross-border partnerships and driving collaboration on our core mission: to create a plastic-free planet.
